The Public Sector Infrastructure Project Management Summit

The Australia Government has promised $75 billion over the next 10 years, to fund major infrastructure projects throughout Australia. This spending spree has come in response to a rapidly growing and aging population, a lack of investment in the past and change in policy towards green and renewable projects. The “nation building” policy has produced some of the largest and most complex projects ever undertaken in Australia. Australian projects, on average are completed only 55% of the time within budget and 50% inside the allocated timeframe. With that in mind, The Public Sector Infrastructure Project Management Summit will focus on:

Ensuring effective governance throughout the lifecycle of the project

Maintaining a budget and timeframe while adjusting for changing stakeholder expectations

Using an effective and flexible project framework to mitigate and identify potential risks
